Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur shared points after a thrilling 3-3 draw at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.



The home side had taken the lead in the 5th minute through Ilkay Gündogan's penalty, but Spurs were level just five minutes later when Dejan Kulusevski scored from a corner.

Erling Haaland then added two goals in quick succession to put City 3-1 up at half-time.However, Harry Kane pulled a goal back for Spurs in the 59th minute and then set up Dejan Kulusevski to equalise in the 90th minute.

The draw leaves City in third place in the Premier League, three points behind leaders Arsenal. Spurs are in fifth place, eight points off the top.

The match was a pulsating affair from start to finish, with both teams creating a number of chances. City had the better of the first half, but Spurs came back strongly in the second half and were unlucky not to win the game.

Ilkay Gündogan's penalty gave City the perfect start, but Dejan Kulusevski's quick response levelled the score. Erling Haaland then took centre stage, scoring two goals in quick succession to put City in control.

However, Harry Kane's penalty gave Spurs hope, and Dejan Kulusevski's late equaliser sparked wild celebrations.The draw was a fair result in the end, but City will be disappointed to have dropped two points. Spurs, on the other hand, will be pleased with a point away to the champions.
